GOAL 6. Attract, cultivate and retain an effective and dynamic workforce

Objective 1. Increase training and professional development opportunities. 

Strategy 1. Develop and implement a marketing plan to enhance awareness of training opportunities.

Strategy 2. Enhance developmental opportunities such as mentoring, cross training, shadowing and job sharing.

Strategy 3. Provide trainings that support safe and healthy interactions between staff and the public.

Strategy 4. Pursue an equity-focused internal learning initiative aligned with the County’s equity goals.
