How can we make traveling in Arlington safer?

In July 2019, the Arlington County Board adopted Vision Zero: a strategy to eliminate all transportation-related fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all people.

Arlington County’s Department of Environmental Services (DES), Transportation Division is leading an extensive network of County Staff and community partners in the development of a Vision Zero Action Plan to reduce severe injuries and fatalities on our transportation network to zero.

There will be more opportunities for engagement on Vision Zero later in the process. Thank you for your interest!
